Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Pypes LLC, doing business as HiringFunnel ("HiringFunnel", "we", "us"). By creating an account, scheduling a call, paying for a subscription, or otherwise using gethiringfunnel.com or any HiringFunnel service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What HiringFunnel provides

HiringFunnel is a career coaching and job application automation service for software engineers. Depending on the plan you select, the service may include:

• 1-on-1 coaching, interview prep, and offer negotiation support.
• Automated job applications submitted to third-party job sites on your behalf.
• AI-assisted resume and profile editing.
• A dashboard for tracking applications, interviews, and offers.

HiringFunnel is a service, not a job placement agency. We do not employ you, hire on behalf of any company, or guarantee that you will receive interviews, offers, or any particular salary outcome.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use HiringFunnel. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for the security of your account credentials, and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us at jared@pypes.dev if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Billing, subscriptions, and cancellation

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on the cadence shown at checkout (e.g., weekly at $19/week). Payments are processed by Stripe.
• By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file for each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing jared@pypes.dev. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not refund the current period unless required by law or stated below.
• Fees are non-refundable except where (a) we expressly offer a refund in writing, or (b) a refund is required by applicable consumer protection law. Failed payments may result in suspension of the service.
• We may change pricing on prospective billing cycles with reasonable notice.

5. Automated job applications & you as principal

If you enable automation, you authorize HiringFunnel to act as your limited agent for the sole purpose of submitting job applications to third-party job sites on your behalf, using credentials, resumes, and answers you provide. You represent that:

• The information you submit through HiringFunnel is accurate and your own.
• You have the right to apply to the jobs you instruct us to apply to and to use any credentials you provide.
• You will comply with the terms of service of each job site to which we submit applications on your behalf. Some job sites prohibit automated submissions; you are responsible for confirming acceptable use.

You can disable automation at any time from the dashboard or by emailing jared@pypes.dev. We do not guarantee that any given application will succeed, that a site will accept automated submissions, or that you will receive a response.

6. AI-generated content

Parts of the service use AI to generate suggested resume edits, application answers, and other content. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or content that misrepresents you if your inputs are inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before submitting it to any employer. HiringFunnel makes no warranty that AI output is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information about yourself.
• Apply to jobs you are not legally permitted to apply to or that you have no intention of pursuing in good faith.
• Use HiringFunnel to harass, spam, or harm employers, recruiters, coaches, or other members.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract source code or data from the service.
• Resell, sublicense, or share your account with anyone.
• Violate applicable law or the rights of any third party.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Intellectual property

The HiringFunnel software, brand, content, and underlying technology are owned by Pypes LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your personal job search. You retain ownership of the resumes, profile content, and other materials you submit ("Your Content"), and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and modify Your Content as needed to operate the service.

9. Third-party services

The service interoperates with third-party job sites, payment processors, AI providers, and similar vendors. Your use of those services is subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their decisions about your account on their platform.

10. No employment guarantees

Career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your experience, the labor market, employer demand, and the accuracy of the information you provide. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, salary increases, or employment of any kind. Statements on our marketing pages about typical outcomes are illustrative and not promises of results.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted service. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, be error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiringFunnel, Pypes LLC, and our affiliates, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, employment opportunities, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

13. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HiringFunnel and Pypes LLC from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) Your Content, (b) your use of the service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, including any third-party job site's terms, or (c) your misrepresentation of your identity, experience, or eligibility for employment.

14. Termination

You may terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription and closing your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the service is no longer commercially reasonable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive.

15. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes. Material changes will be communicated to active members by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
