Manage notifications
HiringFunnel sends two scheduled emails: a daily digest at 7am in your local timezone and a weekly progress recap every Friday at 4pm local. Both are toggleable per-member from Settings → Email Preferences.
What's in the daily digest
Positive-only summary — offers and interview invites only. Rejections, status updates, and recruiter noise stay backend-only.
- Offers — any new offer emails received in the last 7 days.
- Interview invites — recruiter interview requests, deduped per opportunity.
- Applications-sent line — a small footer with how many applications went out this week.
Each row deep-links to the relevant dashboard page — click and you land on the right run or interview.
What's in the weekly progress recap
A Friday-afternoon summary of the week's counters — applications submitted, interviews booked, offers received. Skipped silently on quiet weeks. Only sent to members with an assigned coach.
When the emails send
- Daily digest: 7am in your local timezone. Skipped on days with no new offers or invites (no "nothing happened today" emails).
- Weekly progress: Friday 4pm local. Skipped when all three counters are zero.
- Both sent via Resend; check spam if you don't see them.
Turning off either email
Go to Settings → Email Preferences. Toggle:
- Daily digest on/off — with per-section controls for Offers, Interview invites, and the Applications-sent line.
- Weekly progress recap on/off.
Changes take effect starting with the next scheduled send. Your coach can also toggle these on your behalf from the coach detail page — either side flips the same underlying setting; last-writer-wins.
Changing your timezone
The digest sends at 7am and the weekly recap at 4pm — both in your local timezone. Change your timezone from Settings → Email Preferences → Timezone and the next scheduled email will land at the new local time.
Other emails you might receive
- Magic link — login link, valid 24 hours, requested when you click "Sign in" without a current session.
- Welcome email — sent once when your coach adds you.
- Coach-direct emails — Jared or your coach reaching out personally; not automated.
We don't send marketing emails or "what's new" announcements. The dashboard is the source of truth — open it, the new stuff is in front of you.
