The short version

I went from a $65K full-stack job to a $300K senior engineering offer in 12 months. The thing that moved the needle wasn't a new framework or a bootcamp — it was treating my job search like an engineering problem: a measurable funnel with stages I could instrument, debug, and optimize. HiringFunnel is that system, packaged so other engineers don't have to rebuild it from scratch.

Why HiringFunnel exists

The $200K+ engineering market is not a meritocracy of resumes. It's a pipeline problem. Most engineers I talk to are good enough to land the role they want — they're losing on top of funnel (not enough applications, wrong roles, weak positioning), not on the technical bar. By the time they reach me, they've usually been grinding LeetCode for 3 months and applied to 12 jobs. That ratio is backwards.

HiringFunnel fixes the top of the funnel with real-browser automation that applies to matching roles 24/7, then I work with clients 1-on-1 on the parts that automation can't solve: positioning, interview reps, and offer negotiation. I take a limited number of coaching clients per cohort because the coaching is me, not a content library.

How I work

  • Every fit call is me. Not an SDR, not a closer. If we're not a fit, I'll tell you on the call and point you somewhere better.
  • Every blog post is me. I write from actual reps — my own job search and patterns I see across coaching clients. No ghostwritten AI content under my name.
  • Every product decision is me. HiringFunnel is solo-built. The application bot, the dashboard, the coaching curriculum — I designed all of it because I know what hurts when you're actually job searching.

Who I help

Mid-level to senior software engineers targeting $200K+ roles — frontend, backend, full-stack, infra/SRE, data, and ML. The playbook works best for engineers with 3+ years of shipped experience who are stuck under-leveled, capped at the wrong salary band, or burning out on a job search that isn't moving. If you're a brand-new junior or you're targeting non-engineering roles, I'm probably not the right coach — and I'll say that directly on the fit call.
